Duck hatching eggs
Hatching duck eggs is similar to hatching chicken eggs except duck eggs are larger and take longer to hatch. Pekin eggs take 28 days to hatch, Muscovy eggs 35 days, Mallards 27 days, and Runners 28 days.
The eggs can be held for one week before incubation without problems with the ideal temperature about 60 degrees. Never hold the eggs in a cooler or refrigerator.
As a general rule duck hatching eggs are kept at 89% relative humidity for days 1-25 and turned 3-7 times daily. After day 25 increase humidity to 94% and stop turning the eggs.
