Barred Rock hatching eggs
Barred Rock chickens are also called Plymouth or Barred Plymouth Rock. Developed in America in the mid 19th century, Barred Rock chickens are noted for their hardiness and excellent egg and meat production.
Quality Barred Rocks have a long, broad back,a moderately deep full breast, and a single comb. A docile breed that will grow to 9 1/2 lbs. in roosters and 7 1/2 lbs. in hens.
Hens lay an average of 160 eggs per year.
